So last night we had our church Christmas party. Santa came to visit and Boo actually sat on his lap and talked to him. She was very tense and started shaking the closer we got, but one of her little friends went right before she did and was very excited to sit on Santa's lap. I think that was enough to convince her that he was an OK guy. She even asked him for the real doctor toys that she wants for Christmas. He handed her a candy cane and she thought that was the best thing ever! Seeing as last year she was sobbing before we even got close, I call that real progress.
All three of the kids "performed" for the program. Gem and LM played Carol of the Bells on the flute and piano. They had it perfect at home, but got very nervous at the show, seeing as they were doing it for 325 people! Boo wanted to be part, so she danced for everyone. It was the hit of the night and so very cute!
