St. Patty's Day

So while we are not Irish, we have adopted St. Patrick's Day as one of our own. Gem's greatest desire is to go to Ireland, and we just might oblige her when she is older (I want to go too).
The leprechaun came again this year. We laid down papers for him to step on, since last year it took Goof Off to get his footprints off of our floor. The kids left him pennies and he left them candy and small presents. Gem got shamrock earrings, LM a shamrock tie, and Boo got a charm bracelet. We had to see it pretty early, since Gem goes to school before the rest of us even wake up! Poor Boo took a nap at 10 am. We finished the day with fish and chips and shamrock cookies that Gem made with her friends. We watched the Magic of the Leprechauns, which is Romeo and Juliet with fairies and leprechauns. It was a fun day and the luck of the Irish was upon us,
sending 70* weather this year!

You put me to shame! My poor kids didn't get anything. I even forgot to put out green clothes for them to wear. Oh well...

Yay, a new post! :) Totally can tell that Boo is not awake in the second to last photo! Love the family shot. You need to get in some of the pictures too.
