This year was a wonderful Christmas. It all started on Christmas Eve at my parents house. We had a delicious dinner that my mom made, with a tiny bit of help from my sister and I. Then we moved into our Nativity Program full of music and exceptional acting skills. It is so fun to see instruments brushed off that haven't been used since last year, or before. Following that we have our pj's scavenger hunt. This year we did a pirate treasure map, following the theme of our upcoming cruise. After that it was time to sing to and eat birthday cake for Jesus. We completed the night with a drive to look at lights. The big kids had a hard time going to sleep and even tried to pull an all nighter. LM got the farthest, getting just four hours of sleep. He was so excited...great considering this was his first year knowing. We set up the boobie trap on the stairs so that they wouldn't go down and peek. Seven in the morning came quickly for Boo, but LM and Gem were rearing to go! It was a fun filled Christmas morning with surprises for everyone. Gem's favorites were her new, super loaded, super huge backpack and her new clothes and shoes. LM's were a new cell phone and his real punching bag from Nana and Grandpa. Boo's was her real doctor toys and her big pink balance beam. We finished the day back at Nana and Grandpa's house for more yummy sweets and wonderful presents. It was a great Christmas, and thanks to everyone who was a part of it!
