Gingerbread and Christmas Clothes

We made our annual gingerbread house with Nana and Grandpa on Saturday. The kids actually wanted to make Camp Half Blood from the Percy Jackson and the Olympians book series. My mom, as amazing as she is, made three little houses and a lake in the middle. They made Zeus, Poseidon and Hades' cabins for the top three. They also made Mrs. O'Leary, the hell hound, Grover, the minotaur and Percy. We had the strawberry fields, lava wall and bonfire as well. It was fun to see the kids bring to life what they are reading in books. Again, thanks mom for all the tutoring which brought them to this point! This last picture is of the kids ready to go to our church Christmas program in their Christmas clothes. I love to see the kids all decked out!
