Day 4~ St. Thomas

St. Thomas was our first official port. We started the day with some shopping. We decided to go snorkeling off the beach of Sapphire Bay with my sister, her husband and my nephew, the caboose. They have been to St. Thomas before so they decided to try this new place. It was amazing! I have never done that before and saw the most beautiful fish! At one point I was completely surrounded by silver fish. There is a complete world below the surface of the ocean. To top it off there were fighting iguanas on the beach. They were huge and fascinating, and frankly a little disturbing. Boo had fun playing in the sand, but at this point wouldn't go into the water at all. It was a beautiful, relaxing day and I think did some major therapy.

Vern: We couldn't decided it they were mating or fighting until the one took a big ol' bite out of the other one. That's also when we noticed a section of the tail had been bit off.

It was such a great day!
