1,2 The first celebration that we had in March was St. Patrick's Day. Our little leprechaun came again this year bringing some gifts and candy. He must like the gold coin that we leave in his custom made house. This house was made by Nanna and Gem when Gem was in the first grade. It is a little worse for the wear, but has served us well.
3 The day after St. Patrick's Day was M's school's Sock Hop. He dressed the part as a "Greaser" and had fun with his friends. We even won a silent auction that was pretty cheap, but promises fun activities this summer.
4,5 M and Boo decided to make good use of some of their Spring Break and set up a restaurant. They called it the Owl's Nest and the food and service were excellent!
6,7 Finally we had a mini vacation over Spring Break and went up north. We visited several towns and spent a few days together. We went to Louisville's Lucky Pie and the Sweet Cow. We had BBQ chicken pizza and even tried Pop Tart ice cream.
8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 The next day we saw a fractured fairy tale of 'Rapunzel' in the dinner theater and went to the Celestial Seasonings Factory to take the tour. I loved it, but the kids were not as thrilled. We finished exploring Boulder by going to the Pearl Street Mall. The kids were entranced by all the street performers. We did a little shopping and bought some cool things at a shop. We didn't realize that it was a head shop until we were checking out. Whoops!

Finally we went to Broomfield and used my winning ticket to the Butterfly Pavilion. I actually held a tarantula, as well as Gem and T. Boo wouldn't have anything to do with the bugs that could actually touch her, and M burst into tears at the thought of having to hold the spider. The best part was the butterfly room and all of us had them on us, except Boo who would wave her arms if the even came close. Poor Gem waited for 1/2 hour in the hot sunlight until one finally landed on her shoe. They even had a mini zip line that all the kids tried out. It is a cool place to visit and definitely worth it.
31, 32 If you didn't catch it, Boo is wearing glasses in all of her pictures. This is not because she actually needs them, but likes to think she does. She watch Blue's Clues where Magenta gets glasses and decided that glasses helped her see better. I got tired of her wearing her sunglasses around, since I couldn't see her eyes. Boo spent some of her money on these cute glasses, which I popped the lenses out of. They are cute, if not a little bit funny.
33 Gem also had her first choir concert this month as well. She took a class and then auditioned and made the women select choir, Versailles. She gets to go to Arizona next year and perform in competition. At her class's concert, she was so dramatic, it was cute!

I'm so glad you are enjoying doing "adventures"! Sounds like a lot of fun!
Also, I'm with Tanya, where's the pictures???
Hey Gin,
Love to see the updates. Lately Tanner likes to wear sunglasses and spike his hair everyday. So it was funny to read about Boo's glasses.
Guess What? Our adoption is final! But I am waaaaaay behind b/c for the longest time we couldn't write anything about the girls until it was official. There's a few pictures of AnnaLeigh and Sharly up now, take a peek ;).
Sorry that the pictures didn't go with the blog! They are all on their now :)
