Whew! Another crazy month is behind us.

Every month on the first Saturday, Bai and Dad go and build something in the Home Depot Workshops. We finally got some pictures of her looking so cute and working so hard.

We started the month with Gem's birthday. She has a project runway party this year. That consisted of me buying all different kinds of materials, like tissue paper, tin foil, duct tape, etc. The girls were then divided into groups and told to design their own outfit. There was a model, a designer and a make up artist. When they were all done, we did a photo shoot and had the girls pose. It was really a low key party for me, but exactly what she wanted. We did get to have a family dinner at Red Robin for her actual day as well. The biggest thing I can't believe now is that Gem is driving! She is growing up so fast it's scary. She is a beautiful, smart and driven girl and I feel so blessed to have her as part of our family.
Gem was able to have her special day with my parents. Now that she is older, it is one, hard to find the time and two, hard to decide what to do. My parents are so great though, that they spent the day shopping and getting her nails done. I don't think this was the most fun for my dad, but he is a good sport. He does like the food though, Red Robin (again), and Coldstone. I'm just grateful to have them so close and making memories like this for my kids.

T was able to score some tickets to the Avalanche hockey game. They were great seats and we had a nice date. T hadn't ever been to one before, but he liked it. I think hockey is my favorite sport to watch live. It is fast, aggressive and skilled. They didn't win though, but was a great date.

Mace had an extraordinary opportunity to sing the national anthem at the Rockies major league baseball game this month. He loved being on the field and seeing everything. It was freezing, so we left before the game was over, but of course the Rockies killed the Giants that game, since they had such a great opener!

We went to the Eggstravaganza in the neighborhood this year. Boo really enjoyed it, even meeting the bunny. She really got into the egg hunt this year as well and went for quantity instead of just pink.

Easter this year was incredible. It was probably the most spiritual one we have had. We spent the Saturday before at Boo's preschool egg hunt.

Following that we colored eggs.

Then we switched gears and had our Passover supper followed by a dark out. We decided that to set the tone better we would turn off all the lights at sundown and just use candles. We chose battery operated ones, so no fires would start! We sat around and read through our Resurrection eggs. These are Easter eggs that have different things inside that correspond with the last week in the Savior's life and tie together with scriptures. It put a wonderful feeling in our home and we went to bed early and all slept well.

We woke up in the morning and had the Easter bunny's egg hunt and Resurrection Rolls for breakfast.

They we went off to church with my sister's family.

Following church we went to my parents' house for their great egg hunt and then a delicious dinner all together. It was a great weekend full of family, fun, and most of all feelings of joy and gratitude to our Savior.
