This will be my last post about our trip. On our final days we drove down to LA to visit our friends, T, J, and G. We met before our trip to China, and have been great friends ever since. Seeing them was like we had just been in China together. I wish we could live closer, but at least they have a great trailer we can stay in when we visit!
We went to Disneyland with them on Friday. As soon as we walked in we saw Mickey dressed as the "year of the mouse" for Chinese New Year. We had to get pictures of our girls with him. G gave him a big kiss, Boo started to cry! That was the theme of this day, unfortunately. LM and Gem, thought they had died and gone to heaven! They went on all of the big rides, and even some of the kiddie ones. I tried a couple of rides with Boo. The only ones that she didn't cry hysterically on were the car and the teacup ride. She absolutely hated Alice in Wonderland, Pirates, and Pooh Bear. The last one was the saddest. She kept saying...Pooh! all excited until we actually got on the ride. She started to cry and was in hysterics by the end. My friend T thinks Boo is a sensitive soul. I would have to agree. That or she doesn't like to feel out of control...hmmm...who is that like?!
It was a great day of talking with our dear friends, eating yummy food, and enjoying being in a world all its own.
