St. Patrick's Day

The havoc and goodies
We aren't Irish, but we are definitely wanna be's. We have a leprechaun house that Gem made in 1st grade with her Nana. We set it out every year, and our leprechaun visits us. He leaves his footprints all over the kitchen and table, and makes a little bit of a mess. He usually also leaves a golden candy and chocolate treat for the kids. This year he left some shirts, so the kids could feel more Irish. LM wrote him a note this year, looking for proof, and believe it or not, the leprechaun left him a little chunk of gold!
We had four leaf clover pancakes for breakfast. For dinner we had fish and chips and a mint pie. It was a tasty fun holiday for our family. We are going to watch "The Magic Legend of the Leprechauns" to finish out our lucky day. Happy St. Patty's Day!

You are such a good mom! I need to take some hints for when Gracie is older. Where do you find the place to store all of your holiday stuff?

While I normally don't do much for St. Patty's, this year we had green mac and cheese, with green applesauce and green milk. Shamrock cookies for dessert (of course!) Dave wasn't so thrilled about eating green mac and cheese, but the boys loved it!
