Friends

This last weekend our friends T, J and G came to visit us from the great state of California. We met them through our adoption journey and have been close friends ever since. We picked up G and Boo at the same time. They as well as E were in the same orphanage, so the connection is strong between us. Boo and G were having fun with one another right away. We were able to show T and J all the great reasons that they needed to move here. Their response, "Where is the beach, and where is Disneyland?". OK, we don't have those two things, but we do have a lot of fun stuff to do. We were able to visit places over a hundred years old in town, go to the Pueblo cliff dwellings dating back thousands of years, a beautiful garden of millions of years old red rock, and even visit our friends from just a couple of years ago. Throw in the Olympic training center and hours of fine talking and who wouldn't want to live here? If that weren't enough, they even had my mom's rolls. All they said was that the next time they come out they are looking forward to mom's cinnamon rolls first...then maybe the mountains. We hope that it is soon, since we had such a blast and miss them like crazy. I guess it is our turn next and we will just have to enjoy that beach and Disney.
