Boo's Disney Princess Carnival

So I just realized that I did everything backwards, so you might want to start at the bottom of this post and work your way up. Can you tell I'm still tired from coming off vacation! Here are all the royal ladies in their royal gowns and crowns. They were soooo cute!

After the carnival, they came in for the banquet. We had fancy PB&J and cheese and crackers. The Disney Princess fruit snacks were the biggest hit. They had pink lemonaide in the fancy glasses. The Princesses were their name cards. They finished with the cake.

This is the Cinderella cake. It was a nightmare to make, but turned out cute.

This is Aurora's (Sleeping Beauty) booth. They got to spin the spinning wheel, while avoiding that spindle. Then they received a cute Sleeping Beauty chapstick that my wonderful MIL donated for their treat in their treat bag.

This is Ariel's booth. They listened to the ocean in the big shell and received a small shell for their treat bag.

For Snow White's booth, they had to eat a small piece of non-poisoned apple. They got the crown comb for their bag. I put the cut up apple pieces on the tray later.

This is Belle's booth. They were read a short story about Beauty and the Beast, got to look at her rose and received a pencil as their treat.

This is Pocahontas' booth. They tossed a leaf up in the air like the "colors of the wind" song. They got to touch her necklace, which I made out of tourquoise and an arrowhead. They got the leaf and a feather.

Boo in front of Cinderella's booth. I found this crystal slipper on ebay. LM played the page and tried it on the girl's feet. They got a small plastic "glass" slipper for their treat.

LM's BFF dressed as Aladdin for the Jasmine booth. The ladies had to rub the lamp and try to make the genie come out. They got a sweet tart ring for their efforts.

The carnival with all the princess booths.

Boo in the archway between the royal dressing room and the actual carnival.

The royal ladies in waiting in the royal dressing room. Thanks to Gem and one of her BFF'd E for helping get the ladies ready.

LM dressed up to greet the ladies at the castle. My mom made this incredible costume for him. Thanks!

The invitation
Just before we went on our vacation, I threw Boo's third birthday party. It was an incredible day of Disney princesses. Since Boo's favorite thing right now is Cinderella, it was easy to decide on what to do. With a little creativity, and a very good idea from Gem, this is what we turned out with. Our tradition is to release a white balloon on Boo's birthday to send peace to all of those who are thinking about her in China on this day. We are so grateful for those who gave her life and then gave her up so that she could be our daughter and bring so much joy to our lives. Thank you and may you have peace.
