Every fall there is a festival in China where they celebrate the moon. There is a legend about a selfish goddess and her husband, both vying for eternal life. She steals the pill of immortality and ends up running away to live on the moon. Nice story, and nice reason to celebrate. 
This is a moon cake. It looks gorgeous, but way too sweet and interesting for my palette. Boo loved it and ate two big pieces!
We had to make a wish on the moon, which was full and very big this year. I wonder what those kids wished for...
The Piece DE Resistance...a wonderful meal full of Chinese food. We had this place where we used to live that is dirt cheap, and incredibly good. I made TM go and pick up the food for our dinner there. It was delicious!
